Advert Idea

Old woman sat in living room in silence (clock ticking). Looks over to mantle piece to look at clock (camera pans) and sees a picture of herself winning a marathon when she was younger. Close up of woman picking up old shoe box, then close up of her feet as she puts them on. Close up of her eyes (profile) - they're shut and then she opens them, like she feels brand new. She leaves the house she transforms into a younger version of herself. She runs around the block, possibly reliving her marathon (shadows of old friends). Scene of her crossing the finish line, links to shot of the picture at the beginning (zooms out of the picture). Applause sound effects. Woman is still sat in her chair, wearing the trainers and smiling.

Theme: nostalgia/ being young again
Narrative: non-linear (flashback) realist, subjective (more personal)
Line of appeal: empowerment for women, nostalgia of success and achievements
Power of persuasion: relive your greatest moments

Products marketed at older women tend to have nostalgic adverts to catch the audiences eyes. If older women think that by wearing trainers they will remember all of their past achievements they're going to want to by them.
